  • Newest treatments for hearing loss.
  • Cochlear implants, including new hardware and software and ways to do surgery.

  • Otosclerosis and stapedectomy.
  • Skull base tumors and surgery.
  • Vestibular schwannoma, also known as acoustic neuroma, tumors.
  • Cholesteatoma management.

Advances in basic science research and clinical studies have led to new and improved treatments as well. Researchers in neurophysiology, neurological disorders of the ear, ENT, medical genetics, neurology, pediatrics, internal medicine, radiology and audiology work together to advance care for people.
