Research

Researchers are working to develop and improve diagnosis and treatment tools for anxiety disorders in children and teenagers. Studies include a clinical trial comparing different versions of cognitive behavioral therapy for childhood anxiety disorders.

Researchers also are working on improving the assessment and treatment of anxiety disorders for adults in the primary care setting. They're conducting both qualitative and quantitative studies to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of time-limited behavioral interventions for anxiety disorders.
