Cutting-edge research

Mayo Clinic researchers study risk and genetic factors, diagnostic techniques, and treatment options for frontotemporal dementia and other types of dementia. Mayo Clinic researchers are currently coordinating a large National Institutes of Health-funded study called ALLFTD that follows individuals with sporadic and familial frontotemporal dementia and associated disorders. You may be eligible to participate in clinical trials and studies in the Alzheimer's Disease Research Center.
