Juggling a busy schedule — with work, family and social obligations — can make it difficult to get the sleep you need. Try these tips for managing your time for better sleep:

  • Get organized. Write a daily and weekly to-do list. Decide which items are priorities, and do them first.
  • Schedule downtime. Work relaxation into your schedule — writing it on your calendar or to-do list, if you need to.
  • Just say no. It's impossible to do everything, so don't try. Say yes to the tasks and events that are most important to you, and decline the rest.
