Research

Mayo Clinic researchers are working to improve diagnosis and treatment of cerebral cavernous malformations. Specific efforts include obtaining precise estimates and predictors of the risk of bleeding for cavernous malformations that are not treated. Researchers also are studying whether the risk of recurrent bleeds is greater during specific times in the calendar year.
