Vasculitis Clinic

Patients with all forms of vasculitis are evaluated for diagnosis and management of these complex diseases in the Vasculitis Clinic. Many patients benefit from a multidisciplinary evaluation in the Gonda Vascular Center, where rheumatologists work closely with other specialists.

The Vasculitis Clinic also conducts research into the cause and treatment of vasculitis. The clinic is a participating center in the Vasculitis Clinical Research Consortium.

Diseases treated include: Giant cell arteritis, Takayasu's arteritis, aortitis, polyarteritis nodosa, granulomatosis with polyangiitis (Wegener's granulomatosis), microscopic polyangiitis, Churg-Strauss syndrome, leukocytoclastic vasculitis, Henoch-Schonlein purpura, cryoglobulinemic vasculitis, central nervous system vasculitis and rheumatoid vasculitis.
