Dermatologists within the Mayo Clinic Department of Dermatology founded the first multidisciplinary Transplant Dermatology Specialty Clinic in the United States. They embedded dermatologic expertise within the multidisciplinary care of the William J. Von Liebig Center for Transplantation, Mayo Clinic.
Working with colleagues from transplant medicine, transplant surgery and all medical and surgical specialties, Mayo Clinic dermatologists have been leaders in the field of transplant dermatology from its origin.
