Research

Mayo Clinic physician-scientists and other researchers find better ways to prevent, diagnose and treat heart disease. They study many conditions, including common disorders such as heart failure and rare conditions such as hypoplastic left heart syndrome. Often, a key goal of this work is meeting unmet patient needs by moving discoveries from the research phase to clinical practice as quickly as possible. You may have an opportunity to be part of one of the clinic's many heart-related clinical trials.

Mayo Clinic's large effort in cardiovascular research spans many centers, programs and labs at its facilities in Arizona, Florida and Minnesota.
