Jennifer M. Martinez-Thompson, MD is an adult neurologist with a specialty interest in neuromuscular and peripheral nerve disorders. Her clinical focus includes:

  • Motor neuron diseases such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis
  • Myasthenia gravis and other neuromuscular junction disorders
  • The use of electromyography for the diagnosis of neuromuscular disorders
  • Peripheral neuropathies including immune-mediated neuropathies

In addition to her clinical activities, Dr. Martinez-Thompson is actively involved in neuromuscular research and education of residents and fellows. Her research focuses on clinical trials and improving patient outcomes/quality of life in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
