Olivia O. Cardenas-Trowers, M.D., is a fellowship trained Urogynecologist at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida who specializes in treating female pelvic floor disorders. Dr. Cardenas-Trowers earned her medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona, followed by a fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Cardenas-Trowers is active in research and education. She has been awarded research funding and has authored more than 20 peer-reviewed publications and textbook chapters. She is a national speaker and holds positions on several national committees including the American Urogynecologic Society and Society of Gynecologic Surgeons.
