Biographical summary
Elliot J. Bruhl, M.D., is a family medicine practitioner, with a special interest in procedures. His clinical focus includes:
- Expertise in management of chronic diseases, such as hypertension, coronary artery disease, COPD and diabetes mellitus
- Preventive medical care for the whole family, including infants and children
- Diagnostic evaluation and therapeutic management of musculoskeletal problems, including sports injuries
- Providing procedures to patients in a convenient and comfortable outpatient environment
- Promoting a healthy lifestyle to prevent chronic disease, while recognizing and respecting the unique challenges and individual preferences of each patient
- Building relationships with patients based on mutual respect and trust, through time and continuity
- Working to understand and treat the whole patient
In addition to his clinical activities, Dr. Bruhl is active in research and education, providing mentorship to medical students and residents. His research interests include healthcare delivery.
Dr. Bruhl directs Mayo's Northeast and Northwest Family Clinics.
