Biographical summary
Amberly Wolber, M.D., is a senior associate consultant, department of urologic surgery at Mayo Clinic in Florida. Dr. Wolber specializes in neurogenic voiding dysfunction, incontinence, and female urology
in addition to kidney stones, enlarged prostates, and bladder tumors.
She earned a bachelor's degree in zoology with a minor in neuroscience and graduated (magna cum laude) with University Honors from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She completed her Doctor of Medicine degree and graduated as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society at the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City, Kansas. Dr. Wolber received her urologic surgery training at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky.
In addition to raising her five children, Dr. Wolber has hosted a weekly radio program, served on church and school councils and has been an active member of Rotary International, along with its large assortment of community services.
Dr. Wolber has run a solo practice and worked in both university and corporate/hospital-based systems. She brings with her the benefit of the experience that is gained from working in an assortment of such environments. She takes a particular interest in the changing dynamic of medicine: its infrastructure, financial feasibility and the integration of ever advancing technology in the actual application of medical care.
