Stephen Wisniewski, M.D., is an Assistant Professor of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation with additional subspecialty interest in Musculoskeletal & Sports Medicine. He is an internationally and nationally-recognized specialist, having taught and presented such topics as:

  • Ultrasound exams and ultrasound-guided injections
  • Musculoskeletal and Soft Tissue Disorders
  • Complex spine and neck pain

Dr. Wisniewski is an integral part of the Mayo Clinic PM&R Fellowship and Residency program, providing mentorship and teaching on a daily basis. He is actively involved in advancing the science of diagnostic ultrasound, regenerative medicine, and musculoskeletal rehabilitation.

In 2020, Dr. Wisniewski was awarded the "Residency Program Director of the Year," as well as "Teacher of the Year" in 2016, and "Excellence in Clinical Innovation" in 2018.
