Dr. Carrie Schinstock is currently the medical director of kidney transplantation at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. She has research interests in managing highly sensitized kidney transplant patients, clinical trials for antibody mediated rejection, and kidney paired donation. She has been a leader in the Banff working group involved in the Antibody Mediated Rejection classification system, and currently serves as the Chair of the STAR (Sensitization in Transplantation: Assessment of Risk) working group sponsored by the American Society of Transplantation and American Society of Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics.
