Kabir Mody, M.D., is an oncologist in the Department of Internal Medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. He is board-certified in medical oncology.

Dr. Mody grew up in the northeast U.S. and joined the team at Mayo Clinic in 2014. He has expertise in treating gastrointestinal malignancies, focusing on cancers of the liver and the pancreas. He has co-authored numerous papers and book chapters, including many on the biology and novel treatment strategies of liver and pancreas malignancies. He is actively involved in leading both clinical and lab-based research on cancers of the liver and pancreas. His primary research interests include the use of circulating tumor DNA in the management of liver and pancreas cancers, the use of immunotherapies in liver cancers, novel therapeutics and their incorporation into multi-modality treatment strategies, and also personalized thing immunotherapy treatment for patients with cancers of the liver.

Dr. Mody is blessed to live in Northeast Florida with his wife and two young children. He is passionate about playing sports, especially tennis. He is also an avid world traveler and aviation enthusiast.
