Biographical summary
Kendall H. Lee, M.D., Ph.D., is a neurosurgeon specializing in stereotactic and functional neurosurgery. He is also the director of Neural Engineering laboratories at Mayo Clinic. His clinical focus includes:
- Parkinson's disease
- Essential tremor
- Dystonia
- Psychiatric disorders such as obsessive-compulsive disorder and depression
- Chronic pain
His clinical activities include the Mayo Clinic Deep Brain Stimulation Program as well as cortical stimulation.
Dr. Lee directs the Mayo Neural Engineering laboratories where he studies mechanism action of deep brain stimulation as well as other neuromodulation technologies. His research is being funded through the National Institutes of Health as well as foundation grants.
He has full teaching privileges within the Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and has trained undergraduates, master studies, Ph.D. students, postdoctoral fellows and junior faculty.
