David T. Jones, M.D., is a neurologist with specialty interest in cognitive and behavioral neurology, network-based neurodegeneration, and the application of multimodal neuroimaging with an emphasis on MRI and PET. He is the co-director of the Normal Pressure Hydrocephalous Clinic and a passionate advocate for these patients. Dr. Jones also has many active internal and external collaborations with investigators across the world, including at the University of Minnesota to translate advances made by the Human Connectome Project to measure brain networks during aging and in Alzheimer’s disease. His clinical focus includes:

  • Expertise in management of neurodegenerative diseases
  • Complex coordination of care and diagnosis of unresolved illness
  • Promoting understanding of disease and empowering patients to become partners in managing their health
  • Discerning each patient's unique expectations of living with neurological disease and collaborating with patients to resolve issues and achieve balance
  • Identifying techniques to quantify and communicate risks to patients

In additional to his clinical activities, Dr. Jones is active in education and provides mentorship to neurology residents and fellows. He also holds professional memberships in the American Academy of Neurology and the International Society to Advance Alzheimer's Research and Treatment, among others.
