Coordination of care
Physicians in the Women's Health Clinic listen to each woman's concerns, work to identify and understand her needs, and then develop an appropriate treatment plan in coordination with her primary care provider. Consultation is provided by an integrated team of specialists in gynecology, general internal medicine, psychology, sex therapy, nutrition and lifestyle counseling.
Information shared as part of sexual health consultation is kept confidential. With the patient's permission, a summary of medical recommendations can be sent to her primary care or referring provider. To ensure ongoing coordination of care, Women's Health Clinic staff members encourage each woman to discuss treatment plans with her primary care team. The Women's Health Clinic is committed to continuous improvement in the quality of care and services offered to each woman.
