Research

Excellence in research is an important goal in the mission of the Division of Hematology. The division focuses on improving the diagnosis and treatment of hematologic diseases. Physicians and scientists with special interests in certain diseases work as a team, or disease-oriented group. Each team member lends a particular expertise. Some members provide basic research skills, and others provide clinical and clinical investigative skills.
