Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers at Mayo Clinic in Arizona support Mayo staff members by:

  • Assisting with patient preparation
  • Offering directions and information to patients
  • Providing clerical assistance
  • Lending a hand with many other important facets of Mayo Clinic's day-to-day operations

Volunteers serve at both the Mayo Clinic Building (Scottsdale) and Mayo Clinic Hospital (Phoenix). Every effort is made to place each volunteer in a service area that best matches his or her particular skill set, interests and schedule.

One new volunteer opportunity at Mayo Clinic in Arizona, which will begin in early May 2012, involves providing patients and staff with transportation from parking lots to the hospital. Volunteers will need a valid driver's license. Available shifts will be 6-10 a.m. and 2-6 p.m., Monday through Friday.
