Mayo Clinic Young Volunteers

Young Volunteer Patch

Mayo Clinic Young Volunteers is a program that provides an opportunity for volunteer service in both the clinic and hospital setting for two groups: teenagers ages 14 to 18 and college students ages 18 to 25. Volunteers provide patients and visitors with hospitality, services and amenities that would not otherwise be available. In addition, volunteers may choose to attend presentations and tours given by Mayo Clinic employees to get first-hand information about health care careers.

Although the minimum commitment of time for volunteering in Mayo Clinic programs is one year, some opportunities for college students are available to coincide with college semesters (August – December) and (January – May).
