Volunteers make rounds to patient rooms with the shopping cart. The cart is supplied with items a patient may need while in the hospital, as well as candy, stationery and magazines.
The shopping cart service provides an opportunity for visits with patients and family members. Shifts are Tuesday through Friday and can be flexible for morning or afternoons.
