Outpatient Dialysis

Volunteers interact with patients receiving dialysis treatment in an outpatient setting at Mayo Clinic's Northeast Clinic located on East Circle Drive. Volunteers engage in conversation and activities such as reading aloud, board games, and crossword puzzles with patients to provide a pleasant distraction from treatment. There is opportunity for volunteers and patients to develop relationships over time as most patients receive treatments on a regular basis.
