GI Diagnostic Center

Volunteers notify patients' family members/friends in the waiting area when a patient procedure has been completed and the patient is in the recovery room. The volunteer may talk with the patient while he or she waits for a procedure, assist with history, transport between procedure room and recovery room and assist with miscellaneous duties. Shifts are Monday through Friday, morning hours 8:30 a.m. to noon. Afternoon hours are 1 to 3:30 p.m.
