Video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS) is performed by chest (thoracic) surgeons in the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery. Surgeons work with doctors from Pulmonary Medicine, Oncology, Gastroenterology and other specialties to determine if VATS is the right procedure for you.
