Vaginal Cancer

Treatment in Arizona

In Arizona, Mayo Clinic treats patients with primary and recurrent vaginal cancer using treatment options including surgery, radiation, chemotherapy and combinations of these modalities. Advanced treatments such as robotic surgery, minimally invasive surgery, conformal radiation therapy, intraoperative radiation therapy and brachytherapy are available. Patients who require hospitalization are admitted to Mayo Clinic Hospital in Phoenix.

Treatment Team

Mayo Clinic emphasizes a collaborative approach to care. Many health care professionals work together to determine the best way to treat each patient. Physicians from Gynecology work with specialists from Radiation Oncology, Hematology/Oncology and other specialties as needed to treat patients with vaginal cancer.
