Mayo Clinic doctors treat women who have primary and recurrent vaginal cancer using surgery, radiation, drugs (chemotherapy) and combinations of these therapies. They also use advanced treatments such as robotic surgery, minimally invasive surgery, conformal radiation therapy, intraoperative radiation therapy and brachytherapy.

Mayo Clinic doctors trained in gynecology work with specialists in radiation oncology, hematology/oncology and other specialties to treat vaginal cancer. Women who require hospitalization are admitted to Mayo Clinic Hospital in Phoenix.
