Ulcerative Colitis

Treatment in Minnesota

Each year, more than 1,200 patients with ulcerative colitis come to The Inflammatory Bowel Disease Clinic, which is devoted to the diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory bowel diseases, including ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, and pouchitis.

Services include advanced medical diagnosis and care by gastroenterologists whose practices are focused on inflammatory bowel disease and treatment by colon and rectal surgeons skilled in minimally invasive and bowel sparing techniques. Mayo Clinic gastrointestinal radiologists and pathologists have a high level of expertise in ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease.
