Transport from the Airport

From the Rochester Airport to Downtown

Taxi service is available 24 hours daily. Use the direct line telephones in the terminal if the taxi attendant is not on duty.

Several Rochester hotels operate courtesy vans for their guests. Use the telephones in the baggage claim area to call for this service.

Regular bus service timed to coincide with airline arrivals and departures operates between the Rochester International Airport and several downtown locations. For costs and a complete schedule, phone (507) 282-2222.

From Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport

Many Mayo patients fly into the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport (MSP) and travel from there to Rochester by scheduled bus, van or limousine. The trip is about 90 minutes long. Service is provided by several companies, including those listed below. Ticket counters are located in the Ground Transportation Atrium, one floor up from the Tram Level in the Lindbergh Terminal.
