Parking

Mayo Clinic and Rochester Methodist Hospital

  • Damon Parking Ramp. The Damon Parking Ramp is located downtown across from the Mayo and Gonda buildings on Third Avenue Southwest and First Street Southwest.
  • Graham Parking Ramp. The Graham Parking Ramp is located downtown just west of the Charlton building on Third Avenue Northwest and First Street Northwest.
  • Baldwin Parking Ramp. The Baldwin Parking Ramp is located behind the Baldwin building on Second Street Southwest and Fourth Avenue Southwest.

See maps for more information. All three ramps are connected to Mayo Clinic buildings by underground walkways (subways).

Handicapped parking

If you have a handicapped parking tag displayed on your car, you may park for free at any city meter up to the maximum time posted on the meter. You typically may park at downtown meters for 30 minutes, 90 minutes or three hours.

The Graham Parking Ramp has van-accessible and state handicap parking spaces. Patient ramp parking fees apply. All public ramps in Rochester have clearly marked, designated handicapped parking spaces available.

Saint Marys Hospital

Saint Marys Hospital has an underground parking ramp for patients and visitors in front of the 14th Avenue Southwest entrance. You will not be able to see the parking ramp from the street level. To enter the underground parking ramp, turn left off of 14th Avenue Southwest and drive through the patient drop-off area at the main entrance of the hospital. Follow signs to the parking ramp.

  • Handicapped parking spaces. Handicapped parking spaces are available in the Patient/Visitor Ramp near the elevators.
  • Emergency Trauma Unit (ETU) parking. Patients or visitors going to the Emergency Trauma Unit may park in the surface lot just across the driveway from the Emergency Trauma Unit entrance.
  • Valet parking. Valet parking is available for patients and visitors with special needs only. Valet parking is available from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Drive to the main entrance of the hospital and tell the door attendant you need someone to park your car. For further information, call the door attendant at 507-255-5483.

All entrances to Saint Marys Hospital are wheelchair accessible, with the exception of the entrance to the Francis Building on Second Street Southwest. See Mayo Clinic's Saint Marys Hospital campus map.

Parking passes

You may purchase a long-term parking pass from parking attendants in the patient/visitor ramps. Passes have no expiration date, and passes are valid in all Mayo Clinic patient/visitor parking ramps.
