Mayo Medical Transport provides a full spectrum of medical transport services from its base in Rochester, Minn.

Mayo Medical Transport provides services:

• By ground and in the air
• At a crash scene, medical emergency or for a scheduled interfacility transfer
• Across town or around the world
• To or from Mayo Clinic, a Mayo Health System organization or any other location requested
• With the most appropriate level of care: basic life support, advanced life support or critical care

Mayo Medical Transport staff make all the arrangements for a smooth transition of care between the sending and receiving facilities. For scheduled transports, Mayo emergency communications specialists can provide cost estimates. They also assist in filing insurance claims and obtaining any needed authorization.
