Mayo Medical Transport provides ground and air medical transport services from its base in Rochester:

• Mayo MedAir, a doctor-supervised air ambulance, providing service anywhere in the world
• Mayo One, a medical helicopter service
• Gold Cross ground ambulance

Mayo Medical Transport staff makes all of the arrangements for a smooth care transition between the sending and receiving medical facilities. For scheduled transports, Mayo emergency communications specialists can provide cost estimates, and assist in filing insurance claims and obtaining any necessary authorizations.
