Congenitally Corrected Transposition of the Great Arteries

Treatment of Children

Pediatric specialists at Mayo Clinic in Minnesota have extensive experience treating children who have congenitally corrected transposition of the great arteries. A team of specialists from the Center for Congenital Heart Disease coordinates each child's care. Children needing hospitalization receive care at Mayo Eugenio Litta Children's Hospital at Mayo Clinic in Minnesota.

Follow-up treatment

Children who have ventricular inversion and transposition of the great arteries, including those who don't have other congenital heart conditions, need regular follow-up by a cardiologist familiar with congenital heart disease.
