The Division of Hematology/Oncology has offered allogeneic and autologous bone marrow transplants since 1992. Our first peripheral blood stem cell transplant was performed in 1993. Patients are evaluated on the Mayo Clinic campus on San Pablo Road, and the transplants are done in a special unit at Mayo Clinic hospital.
