The Mayo Clinic Referring Physician Service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for consultation and to facilitate the referral of transplant patients. When calling the Referring Physician Service, please specify the type of transplant service (bone marrow or blood and marrow, heart, kidney-pancreas, liver, lung) so you can be connected to the person who can best answer your questions.
This number is reserved exclusively for referring physicians and their office staffs.
Referring physicians can arrange urgent transport of their patients via the Mayo Clinic Medical Transport service.
