Liver Transplant Specialists

The Liver Transplant Program is a multidisciplinary program within the Transplant Center at Mayo Clinic in Rochester. There are two types of doctors who work in the Transplant Center. One group is internists, called transplant hepatologists, who specialize in the diseases of the liver and liver transplantation. The other group is surgeons, called transplant surgeons, who specialize in the transplantation of the liver.
