Program Details

The trainee program involves working with Mayo Clinic professionals in the Division of Systems and Procedures. Sample projects include:

  • Medical record automation
  • Development of plans for auditing and testing
  • Development of new forms and procedures
  • Studies of the use of staff or equipment
  • Planning for new facilities or the remodeling of existing ones
  • Assessment of transportation systems
  • Process improvement
  • Statistical analysis

This is a one-year paid opportunity beginning in the fall of 2008. Trainees are paid $19.45/hr. The work schedule is 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, with occasional 7 a.m. meetings.
