Mayo Clinic's Systems and Procedures Trainee Program is a one-year learning experience designed to foster the development of outstanding individuals committed to a career in health-care administration. The purpose of the program is to provide the trainee with practical experience through direct exposure to, and active participation in, projects within Mayo Clinic in Rochester. The program typically begins in September.
The purpose of the Division of Systems and Procedures is to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Mayo Clinic practice. To this end, the division staff analyzes and improves medical record systems, work flow and distribution, scheduling, equipment, and the use of space.
