Patient Service Representative
- Perform various clerical, electronic, and customer service duties including management, maintenance, and flow of patient information (medical records and test reports)
- Coordinate physician and patient appointment schedules
- Receive patients and visitors
- Answer phones
- Perform a variety of other support activities
Clinical Assistant
- Facilitate patient visits and support the health care provider by anticipating and responding to patient needs and health care team requests.
- Coordinate details of patient visits which include:
- Coordinating appointment schedules and daily activities of the care providers
- Preparing patients
- Completing pre-examination record information
- Managing the flow of patient materials
- Communicating scheduling delays or changes to the appropriate individuals
Patient Appointment Coordinator
- Independently schedule and confirm patient appointments for a particular department/division through managing department calendars
- Accurately determine the nature of the patient's problems, the type of appointment, appropriate area to be evaluated and the urgency of the appointment.
- Answer phone calls, taking a brief medical history, and independently make appropriate patient appointments
- Pre-schedule appropriate tests as directed by the department
