There are several ways to navigate through this Web site.

Timeline: You may choose the timeline which scrolls from left to right to navigate through the history of Mayo Clinic. Each historic item referenced in the timeline is hyperlinked to a set of articles.

Artifacts: You may also choose to navigate around the site using the artifacts. Artifacts can be found by selecting the tab at the top of each page. Each is hyperlinked to information about the artifact and subsequent links lead to related articles. You can return to the timeline by selecting that tab.

Linear Links: At the bottom of each article are hyperlinks to the next and/or the previous article.

		Right Side Navigation: At the right of many articles are links to additional articles and related content.

Site Map: The site map may also be used to browse through the articles and artifacts.
