The Discovery of Cortisone
Drs. Charles H. Slocumb (left), Howard F. Polley, Edward C. Kendall and Philip S. Hench in the laboratory where cortisone was discovered. Drs. Kendall and Hench shared the Nobel Prize in 1950 for the isolation and first use of cortisone.
