Mayo Clinic doctors trained in mental health conditions (psychologists and psychiatrists), doctors trained in nervous system conditions (neurologists) and other doctors study new treatment options for Tourette syndrome, including new medications and surgical procedures. Researchers also are studying deep brain stimulation as a possible treatment for Tourette syndrome. You may have the opportunity to participate in clinical trials.
