Tonsil Cancer

Symptoms

A patient with tonsil cancer may experience one or more of the following symptoms:

  • A persistent sore in the back of the mouth that doesn't heal
  • Ongoing pain in the mouth
  • Difficulty chewing, swallowing, or speaking
  • Swelling or pain in the neck
  • Severe ear pain
  • Lumps in the neck
  • Development of a nerve syndrome
  • Citrus intolerance
  • Sore throat
  • Pain with swallowing
  • Foul breath
  • Weight loss
