Symptoms
A patient with tonsil cancer may experience one or more of the following symptoms:
- A persistent sore in the back of the mouth that doesn't heal
- Ongoing pain in the mouth
- Difficulty chewing, swallowing, or speaking
- Swelling or pain in the neck
- Severe ear pain
- Lumps in the neck
- Development of a nerve syndrome
- Citrus intolerance
- Sore throat
- Pain with swallowing
- Foul breath
- Weight loss
