Treatment Team

Mayo Clinic surgeons and other health care professionals work together to develop a comprehensive treatment plan for each patient. A collaborative team of experienced medical and surgical specialists determine the best treatment for each patient. To treat patients who have tonsil cancer, physicians from Otorhinolaryngology, Plastic Surgery, Hematology/Oncology and Radiation Oncology work with specialists from other departments, as needed.
