Tongue Base Cancer

Research

Mayo Clinic conducts important research related to tumors of the head and neck through the Mayo Clinic Cancer Center. The research program involves a team of clinicians and scientists from various disciplines who conduct basic science, translational research and organ preservation studies. The goals of this program include enhancing the quality of life and improving the possibility for cure, while maintaining the dignity and respect that each patient deserves.
