T-cell Lymphoma

Diagnosis

To diagnosis cutaneous T-cell lymphoma, the physician generally begins by interviewing the patient about details of the symptoms and when they began. Once the physician has the patient's medical history, the next steps are a physical examination, blood tests, and skin or other biopsies. A pathologist microscopically examines the small sample of skin removed during the biopsy to determine whether it contains cancerous cells.
