Supplier Diversity

The supplier diversity program is a proactive business process to provide equal access to Mayo Clinic purchasing opportunities for all qualified diverse suppliers. It also promotes supplier participation reflective of the diverse business community. The goal of the program is to increase diverse supplier purchasing by engaging in mutually beneficial strategic business relationships.

Diversity Classifications

Mayo Clinic recognizes the following Diversity Classifications:

Registration/Qualifications

Mayo Clinic recognizes third-party public and private certifications including, but not limited to, the following:

  • National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) and its Regional Affiliates
  • Small Business Administration's 8(a) Program (SBA)
  • Association for Service Disabled Veterans (ASDV)
  • Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) and its Regional Affiliates
  • US Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce
  • Federal Acquisition Regulations' Definitions

Certifications from any local, city or state government agency may also be considered.
