The Nicotine Dependence Center combines a cognitive/behavioral approach with the newest pharmaceutical therapies for patients who want to stop smoking or chewing tobacco. A treatment plan is developed with each patient to provide appropriate therapy and support. The center's staff will coordinate with the patient's other physicians, as needed, to provide the best treatment options.

Smokers interested in more intensive treatment can be referred to the residential program in Rochester.
