Stereotactic Radiosurgery

Treatment in Minnesota

Neurosurgeons at Mayo Clinic in Minnesota have been using the Gamma Knife™, a type of stereotactic radiosurgery, for nearly 15 years. More than 2,600 patients have received this treatment at Mayo Clinic.

Radiation oncologists also use radiosurgery to treat tumors in the body, including the spine, lung and liver.
