Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation Program in Minnesota

Services

Mayo Clinic offers a complete range of services to help individuals recover from spinal cord injuries, beginning in the intensive care unit at the time of injury and continuing throughout the patient's lifetime.

Inpatient care

Patients may enter the inpatient rehabilitation unit:

  • After consultation with spinal cord injury specialists during hospital-based care.
  • After an outpatient evaluation at the Spinal Cord Injury Clinic.
  • As a direct admission from another medical center following evaluation by a Mayo Clinic admissions coordinator.
