Soft tissue sarcoma is rare and diagnosed less often in children and teenagers than in adults. Doctors diagnose and treat adults and children with soft tissue sarcoma in much the same way. Treatment options include surgery, chemotherapy and radiation. Sometimes a combination of these treatments offers the best chance of success.
