Sleep Disorders in Florida

Overview

The Sleep Disorders Unit at Mayo Clinic in Florida is an outpatient medical facility for diagnosing and treating sleep-related disorders. It is fully accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. The center offers nighttime sleep studies (polysomnograms), multiple sleep latency tests, wrist actigraphy and overnight oximetry.

Patients are treated for a number of disorders, including:

  • Excessive somnolence
  • Insomnia
  • Parasomnias
  • Periodic leg movements
  • Restless leg syndrome
  • Sleep-related breathing disorders
